Public forum to focus on tough bioethics questions

CHICAGO - Experts from Northwestern University and the University of Chicago will discuss bioethics and society at a free public forum at Northwestern's law school.

The 6 p.m. Wednesday event is part of the Museum of Science and Industry's "Science Chicago" project.

Speakers are Laurie Zoloth, director of Northwestern University's Center for Bioethics at Northwestern University, and Dr. Mark Siegler, director of the University of Chicago's MacLean Center for Clinical Medical Ethics.

They'll talk about issues that were suggested by the public on Facebook and Twitter.

The museum is leading the yearlong Science Chicago initiative. It concludes in August.
