Pastor to appear today on CatholicTV

NEW BEDFORD — The Rev. Roger Landry, pastor of St. Anthony of Padua Church, will appear on the "This is the Day" program at 10:30 this morning on CatholicTV, with a rebroadcast at 8 p.m.

The show will be streamed simultaneously at www.CatholicTV.com and will be available on the site's archives starting tonight. All videos at the Web site are viewable in full screen at www.CatholicTV.org/shows/default.aspx?seriesID=72.

Landry studied biology at Harvard University and theology and bioethics at the John Paul II Institute for Marriage and Family in Rome. On "This is the Day," Landry will discuss "Becoming a Real Man of God" and will deal with topics including same-sex marriage.

This September, CatholicTV will air Landry's television series on John Paul II's teachings on the "Theology of the Body."
